MG unveils 2 EV models — NEW MG MAXUS 9 V+ and NEW MG4 MY2026 — with special offers across all models at MOTOR SHOW 2026

SAIC Motor–CP Co., Ltd. and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., the manufacturer and distributor of MG vehicles in Thailand, introduce two new electric vehicles designed to better match EV lifestyles. These include the 7-seat e-MPV NEW MG MAXUS 9 V+, offering enhanced cabin comfort, and the NEW MG4 MY2026, upgraded in every dimension.

The NEW MG4 MY2026 features a refreshed exterior design with a sportier look, highlighted by a new green color. Both drivers and passengers will experience improved comfort and stronger performance, delivering up to 245 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, along with an extended driving range of up to 540 km (NEDC).

In addition, MG presents a wide range of vehicles with various powertrain options, all available with special offers for customers to experience and test drive at the 47th Bangkok International Motor Show 2026 from March 25, 2026 – April 5, 2026 at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani.

NEW MG MAXUS 9 V+
            Upgraded with enhanced features for greater comfort and premium experience, catering to business users and modern families under the concept “THE MAX OF US – Maximum Happiness Together.” It meets the growing demand for e-MPV vehicles equipped with advanced technology, while maintaining a sleek and elegant exterior design. Inside, it enhances comfort with a dual 12.3-inch touchscreen setup (the largest in its class) with HD clarity, paired with a 12-speaker JBL sound system. It also features a 10.25-inch driver display, providing clear driving information. The cabin offers an open and airy feel with a sunroof for front passengers and a panoramic sunroof for rear passengers.Second-row VIP seats come equipped with massage function, temperature adjustment, and sunshades designed for Thailand’s climate. Convenience is further enhanced through the intelligent i-SMART system, allowing remote control of functions such as air conditioning and vehicle locking/unlocking.

Another model is the NEW MG4 ELECTRIC, MG’s global model that has gained strong popularity worldwide, with cumulative sales exceeding 300,000 units and notable success in the United Kingdom. In Thailand, it has achieved over 30,000 units in cumulative sales, reflecting strong consumer confidence in this EV model. Building on this success, MG introduces the NEW MG4 MY2026, which retains its rear-wheel-drive configuration and continues to be built on the NEBULA PURE ELECTRIC PLATFORM. It has been upgraded in every dimension, especially in performance. The X LONG RANGE variant delivers more powerful driving performance with an upgraded electric motor producing up to 245 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, paired with a high-performance 62.2 kWh battery. It offers an extended driving range of up to 540 km per charge and supports fast charging up to 140 kW. The exterior maintains a sporty design from every angle, enhanced with 18-inch alloy wheels, orange brake calipers, and a new green body color “IRIS CYAN.”

Inside, the cabin has been completely redesigned to improve usability and comfort for both driver and passengers. Highlights include newly designed seats that provide better comfort and support, equipped with electric adjustment and cooling seats. The infotainment screen is 12.8 inches, paired with a larger 10.25-inch digital driver display. Rear passengers benefit from added air vents, armrest, and cup holders.
